Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the IMOK company website at imoklab.com ("the Site"), operated by IMOK ("we", "us"). They describe the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of IMOK and visitors who use the Site.

2. Definitions

  • "Operator" means IMOK, the entity that designs and operates the Site.
  • "User" means any individual who accesses the Site or uses its features.
  • "Content" means all text, images, designs, code, audio, video, and files published on the Site.
  • "Inquiry" means a message a User sends to the Operator through the contact form or by email.

3. Effect and changes

  1. These Terms take effect when published on the Site. By accessing the Site, a User is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
  2. The Operator may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law and will publish any change at least 7 days before its effective date.
  3. If a User does not agree to the updated Terms, they may stop using the Site. Continued use after the effective date constitutes agreement.

4. Scope of services

The Site provides the following information services:

  • Information about IMOK, its business areas, and team
  • Portfolio and case studies
  • An archive of articles and notes
  • An inquiry form for consultations
  • Information on Cafe24 skin lineup and pricing (/en, /cafe24)

The Site does not provide accounts, login, or e-commerce. Skin licenses and other digital products are sold via the Cafe24 Design Store or under a separate written agreement, and those transactions are governed by the license and refund terms published at /cafe24/pricing in addition to these Terms.

5. User obligations

  1. Users must comply with applicable laws, these Terms, and any Operator notices when using the Site.
  2. Information submitted via the contact form must be accurate, and Users must not impersonate others.
  3. Users must not interfere with the normal operation of the Site.

6. Prohibited conduct

Users must not engage in any of the following:

  • Reproducing, distributing, transmitting, publishing, displaying, or broadcasting Site Content without the Operator's prior written consent.
  • Using designs, code, or images published on the Site in their own products or services without permission.
  • Accessing the Site through automated means (scrapers, bots) in an abnormal way. Search-engine crawling that respects robots.txt is permitted.
  • Probing, circumventing, or exploiting security vulnerabilities of the Site.
  • Defaming the Operator or third parties, or infringing on their rights.
  • Spreading false information or sending spam.
  • Engaging in conduct that violates applicable law or public order.

7. Intellectual property

  1. All Content on the Site is owned by the Operator or its licensors. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no rights are transferred by visiting the Site.
  2. Users may not use Site Content for commercial purposes, or sublicense it to third parties, without the Operator's prior written consent.
  3. Brand names, logos, and marks such as IMOK, 이목 (以目), zanocc, and 인트나인 belong to the Operator or their respective owners and are protected under applicable law.
  4. Client work case studies appear with consent from the relevant clients. Unauthorized reuse may infringe rights of those clients in addition to the Operator's rights.

8. Third-party links and services

  1. The Site may link to external sites, including IMOK's own brand stores, the Cafe24 Design Store, and client sites.
  2. Content and services hosted on those external sites are the responsibility of their respective operators. The Operator does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or legality of external content.
  3. The Site uses third-party services such as Cloudflare Pages, Resend, Cloudflare Turnstile, and (when enabled) Google Analytics. Personal information processing related to these services is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of liability

  1. The Operator is not liable for service interruptions, delays, or losses caused by events outside its reasonable control, including force majeure, war, network outages, or service disruptions at upstream infrastructure providers (e.g., Cloudflare).
  2. The Operator is not legally responsible for decisions Users make based on information published on the Site. Site information is provided for general guidance; specific decisions should be confirmed via direct consultation.
  3. Except as required by law or as expressly stated in these Terms, the Operator disclaims liability arising from the use of free informational services on the Site.

10. Indemnification

If a User causes damage to the Operator by violating these Terms, the Operator may seek compensation from that User. If the Operator causes damage to a User by intent or gross negligence, the Operator will compensate the User as required by applicable law.

11. Governing law and disputes

  1. The Operator and Users will first seek to resolve any dispute in good faith through negotiation.
  2. These Terms and any use of the Site are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  3. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be brought before the competent court determined under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

12. Final clauses

These Terms take effect on May 4, 2026.
